Christmas lights at Hever.

I’ve always had a love for photographing people under the lights. I would say I’m more of a technical photographer rather than one of these super arty photographer’s. What I mean to say is that I love giving myself a challenge which is probably why wedding photography really appeals to me !

These photos were taken at a family evening at Hever so I was there to enjoy the evening with family as well as shooting photos. Taking photos of the adults is a little more tricky compared to the children, The reflections from Fernes new glasses and the way that Ferne kept standing in perfect lighting meant I was able to grab some lovely photos of her. I love those candid moments with people not realising that I'm taking a photo which is sometimes difficult to capture in a group environment like this but I just wanted to capture everyone enjoying themselves.

I was really looking forward to visiting Hever, I heard good things about the lights and we were not disappointed. The amount of displays on show and the castle itself with the what felt like a million Christmas trees inside was mind blowing. The fact that we had two little ones under the age of 1 meant that unfortunately we did miss a few of the sections.

If you like what you see then please share this blog. I wanted to start blogging as a way to show of all of those photos which never see the light of day. I have a ton of photos and ideas and can’t wait to share them.

I’ve opened up my diary for weddings in 2024, I’m only looking to take on a small amount of weddings to begin with as I’m also getting married in 2024. Click on the link for pricing and contact info.
